After months of record-high prices, grocery shoppers have felt a slight reprieve at the cash register.

While grocery prices are up 4.7% from June 2022, shoppers saw prices fall for things like eggs, meats, vegetables, grains and dairy products.

Stacker used monthly Bureau of Labor Statistics data to find grocery items that experienced the largest price decreases over the last month in the South, including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Washington D.C., Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Here were the top 10 groceries with the largest price decreases:
