Recipe: Chicken Pasta Caesar Salad
By my way of thinking, nothing says summertime supper more than a delicious salad that doubles as a meal. This is a recipe that I ran across recently and am anxious to give a try.
It features two of my most favorite things: Caesar salad and rotisserie chicken that somebody else cooked. The addition of the spiral pasta gives it a little extra heft, making it perfect for a warm summer evening repast.
Chicken Pasta Caesar Salad

Ingredients
- 3 cups uncooked spiral pasta (about 8 ounces)
- 6 cups torn romaine
- 3 cups coarsely shredded rotisserie chicken
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup creamy Caesar salad dressing
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
