Annabelle Ham, YouTube lifestyle vlogger, found dead in Fairhope at 22 after missing person report

Annabelle Ham, a popular YouTube personality known for her lifestyle videos, has died at the age of 22.

The family of the popular content creator confirmed that she died on July 15. The exact details on her cause of death have not been shared but an “epileptic event” was said to have factored into her passing.

Multiple news reports state Annabelle died in Fairhope after police investigated a missing person who was last seen walking on a pier at the end of Molokai Lane.

She was attending a bachelorette party when she was reported missing, the Daily Mail reported.

A statement posted on her Instagram account revealed that she “experienced an epileptic event and has gone on to the gates of heaven.”

“She struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness for it, which we will do in honor of her,” the post continued.

“There will be a time to share more details and to go deeper into her life,” they added. “Her accounts will be used to share what she went through and the joys she brought to all of us.”

On Monday, Annabelle’s sister Alexandria Ham shared about how “heartbroken” loved ones were in the wake of the loss.

“Annabelle was such a light to the world. A spark-plug,” she wrote on Instagram. “If you knew Annabelle, you loved her and loved being around her. She loved others so well too. Please keep my family in your prayers.”

Annabelle’s other sister, Amelia May Ham, shared in a separate post that “you would never think something like this would or could happen to you until it does.”

However, she added that “God was ready” for Annabelle, who she said was “dancing around heaven right now.”

Annabelle, a Georgia native, was a member of the Kennesaw State University’s Beta Zeta chapter of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, which also offered a remembrance on social media.

“On Saturday, July 15, we lost a big piece of our hearts,” the organization’s Instagram message read. “Annabelle Ham was a such a light in our chapter. She had an amazing impact on each and every sister in Beta Zeta. She was caring, selfless and carried so much love inside of her heart. She always had a smile on her face and never failed to put a smile on others. To know her is to love her. She lived every day to the fullest.”
