Watch Alabama freshmen Kadyn Proctor, Olaus Alinen get baptized

While the college football world prepped for SEC media days in Nashville this week, two Alabama freshmen prepared for their life beyond the field.

On Sunday, freshman linemen Kadyn Proctor and Olaus Alinen were baptized and gave their lives to Christ.

Both were marquee recruits in the Crimson Tide’s 2023 class.

In December, Proctor, the best offensive line recruit in the country, flipped from his home-state Iowa Hawkeyes to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Proctor certainly stands out at 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds.

Alinen, a blue-chip offensive tackle from Finland, announced his verbal commitment to Alabama a year ago. He was a top-15 lineman, per 247Sports composite rankings. Alinen’s dad, Klaus Alinen, was a tight end for NFL Europe and was on the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad for a season.
