Pedestrian killed after two vehicles collide on Irvington Bayou LaBatre Highway
A 40-year-old Mississippi woman was killed after two vehicle collided, sending one vehicle into the woman, who was a pedestrian in the area.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the accident occurred about 5:47 p.m. Thursday on Irvington Bayou LaBatre Highway in Mobile County.
A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a juvenile was struck by a 2006 Toyota Tacoma driven by 26-year-old Charles G. Lea of Madison, Miss. The collision caused the Silverado to slam into the woman, identified as Bridget B. Boudreaux of Waynesboro, Miss.
Boudreaux was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
ALEA said the crash remains under investigation.
