Huntsville police have arrested one person following a shooting this morning on Foster Avenue.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the area at about 9 a.m.

One person arrived at the hospital in a personal vehicle with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Jamontez Rodgers, 20, was arrested and charged with assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

As of about 2 p.m., Rodgers is being booked into the Madison County Jail.
