Michael Jordan disapproves of son Marcus seeing Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa

Michael Jordan made it clear he doesn’t approve of his son, Marcus, dating Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen.

According to TMZ, Michael Jordan was leaving dinner at Matignon in Paris on Sunday when he was asked about his 32-year-old son’s relationship with Larsa Pippen, 48.

Michael Jordan laughed when asked by a photographer, per the report, but when the question was asked a second time, he offered “a resounding ‘No!’”

Jordan’s remark counters what Larsa Pippen told Tamron Hall on her television show earlier this year.

“I’ve recently been hanging out with them, but I really don’t want to talk about them. I feel like it’s not about my parents or his parents. They’re all happy, our whole family’s fine,” she explained in February.

It was reported that Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen have been together since September. Since then, however, Scottie Pippen has been very vocal against the way the Chicago Bulls were portrayed in “The Last Dance,” and puts most of that blame at Michael Jordan’s feet.

“I had expected much more. When I was first told about it over a year earlier, I couldn’t wait to tune in, knowing it would feature rare footage,” Scottie wrote in his Unguarded memoir, noting he thought the project heavily focused on solely Michael’s experience on the team.

Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen got married in 1997. They had Scotty Jr. (2000), Preston (2002), Justin (2005) and daughter Sophia (2008). The pair split in 2018 before briefly reconciling. The reality TV star filed for divorce for a second time in November 2018, which was finalized in December 2021.
