An Irondale man was killed in single vehicle crash early Sunday in Birmingham.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the fatality victim as Qualon Lawson Romeron Pleasant. He was 23.

The wreck happened at 2:49 a.m. in the 4600 block of Fifth Avenue South.

Pleasant was a passenger in a Nissan Altima that left the road and struck the corner of a building. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:35 a.m.

Three others were hospitalized.

The investigation is ongoing by Birmingham police.
