Two people were killed in a head-on crash in St. Clair County.

Alabama State Troopers identified one of the victims as Renae L. McKee. She was 42 and lived in Goshen.

The second victim has not yet been identified.

The wreck happened at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday on Alabama 144, about one mile east of Ragland, said Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal.

Authorities said McKee was driving a 2015 Kenworth tractor-trailer and collided head-on with a 2014 Toyota Tundra. McKee was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota was also pronounced dead on the scene. O’Neal said the driver’s identity is unknown and is currently pending notification by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.

The investigation is ongoing.
