How did Mobile-area stocks fare on down day on Wall Street?
It was another day of seeing red on the stock market Monday, but most of the companies in our Mobile and Alabama Stock Report fared pretty well.
Community Health Systems led the gainers with an impressive 5.8% bump.
The Franklin, Tennessee-based company has six locations in Alabama: Birmingham, Dothan, Enterprise, Foley, Gadsden and Huntsville.
WestRock, a corrugated packaging company based in Atlanta, jumped 4.3%.
The second largest American packaging company has sites in eight cities across the state, including Huntsville, Athens, Stevenson and Cullman in north Alabama to Eutaw, Lanett, Demopolis and Montgomery in central Alabama.
Enviva had a 1.5% pickup. ArcelorMittal was up 1%.
