Birmingham construction firm Robins & Morton has completed a $154 million health care project in Charlotte, N.C.

The new Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center campus includes a 216,236-square-foot hospital and a 57,509-square-foot medical office building.

Robins & Morton served as the general contractor, with HDR as the architect.

The 38-acre complex includes emergency care, inpatient, women’s care, expanded diagnostic services and surgical services.

“We are excited to open this new facility to serve the community of South Charlotte,” Robins & Morton Project Director Caleb Chandler said. “We are grateful to Novant Health for allowing us to bring their vision to life.”
