Work begins on $10.2 million hotel project in Huntsville

Work is beginning on a $10.2 million hotel project off Holmes Avenue in Huntsville, according to Southern Exposure Information.

A permit was issued for the project last week at 5581 Holmes Avenue to Larry Bielski, with Integrated Construction LLC listed as the builder. The project is listed as Everhome Suites on the Integrated Construction website.

It was the largest project issued a permit in the Huntsville area last week. Overall, 199 permits were issued in Madison, Morgan and Limestone counties last week totaling more than $50.7 million.

Huntsville issued 67 permits totaling $20.57 million. Madison County issued 68 for $14.5 million. Madison issued 47 for $10.9 million. Decatur issued 13 for $4.3 million and Decatur issued four for $366,000.

The Everhome Suites building is four stories with 98 units. It will cover almost 52,000 square feet. Everhome Suites are extended stay hotels. A permit for an $8.9 million building was issued for the hotel earlier this spring.

It is expected to be completed June of next year.
