Nick Saban hits leg raises with kids during youth camp: ‘He does them better than most of our players’

When it comes to his youth camp, Nick Saban doesn’t believe in asking his players he isn’t willing to do himself.

That is, of course, when those players are taking part in his youth camp.

ESPN’s Chris Low tweeted a video of the Alabama coach taking part in stretching exercises with the campers in attendance in Tuscaloosa.

According to the report, the stretching exercise is the same regimen his Crimson Tide players do before practice. Saban, who had hip replacement surgery in 2019, does the exercises with his own players to open practice.

“He does them better than most of our players,” Alabama head athletic trainer Jeff Allen told Low.

Watch Saban, 71, do his thing below.

Saban, per the report, started his youth camp when he was at Michigan State and continued it during his stints at LSU and now Alabama.
