3 juveniles injured in southwest Birmingham shooting

An investigation is underway after an early-morning shooting in southwest Birmingham left three people injured.

Few details are available, but the shooting happened about 4 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of 19th Place S.W.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service Battalion Chief Tobias Jones said all three victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Birmingham police spokesman Officer Truman Fitzgerald said the three victims are juveniles. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

No arrests have been announced.
