A Town Creek woman died this morning following a single-vehicle crash in Lawrence County.

Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the crash occurred at about 8:35 a.m. Friday on Alabama 36 near the 8 mile marker, approximately eight miles south of Moulton.

Mary C. Lindley, 47, was critically injured when the 2010 Nissan Maxima she was driving left the roadway, striking a mailbox, a culvert and then a house.

Lindley was transported to the Lawrence County Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
