‘Alone’ season 10 premiere: How to watch, where to live stream

Season 10 of the popular survival reality TV show Alone is set to premiere on the History Channel Thursday, June 8 at 9/8c.

In this series, brave participants are forced to use their wits when left alone in the wilderness with nothing but a backpack and struggle with harsh weather, hostile locations and aggressive wildlife.

This season, ten new participants compete to win $500,000 in the show’s most remote location yet, northern Saskatchewan.

How do I watch Alone without cable?

Those who have already ditched basic cable can still watch tonight’s season premiere live and stay up-to-date on current episodes with Philo or Sling.

You can also catch up on previous seasons of the series with a basic Hulu subscription.

What is the difference between Philo and Sling?

Philo is one of the cheaper streaming services available as it allows users to stream over 70 live channels for just $25 a month.

Live channels offered by Philo include Lifetime, Hallmark, MTV, VH1, AMC, HGTV, the Discovery Channel, CMT, BET and more.

New subscribers can also take advantage of Philo’s free trial and watch the new season of Alone for free before committing to anything.

Sling is also considered one of the cheaper live streaming services. It offers three different channel packages for its users: Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Orange + Blue.

Sling Blue and Sling Orange are both $40 per month, but offer different channel selections.

The main difference between the two packages is the line of ESPN channels offered with Sling Orange as opposed to channels such as Fox News, MSNBC, Discovery and Bravo offered with Sling Blue.

Meanwhile, Sling Orange + Blue is simply both packages combined for $55 a month. Users can access the History Channel with any of these packages.

Be sure to check out the full breakdown between all three packages here.

More about season 10 of Alone

The History Channel’s official description of Alone season 10 is as follows:

The 10th season of the History Channel’s popular survival series Alone will push a new group of brave participants to the limit as they tap into their impressive survival skills in a fight to be the last person standing and win the $500,000 cash prize.

Dropped in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada–home to vicious predators including territorial black bear, wolves and moose–the ten survivalists will compete with each other, endure bone-chilling temperatures and face off against some of the largest animals in North America in an effort to last for as long as they can.

With just ten survival items per person and enough camera gear to self-document their experiences, this is the series’ toughest season yet. No camera crews. No gimmicks. Alone is the ultimate test of human will.
