Authorities are investigating after multiple shots were fired into a car with people inside at the Mercedes plant parking lot in Tuscaloosa County.

Tuscaloosa County sheriff’s deputies and the sheriff’s office’s Violent Crimes Unit responded to the plant parking area in Vance on a report of a shooting, said Capt. Jack Kennedy with the VCU.

An occupied car was shot into multiple times, Kennedy said.

No one was injured in the shooting and no suspects were in custody as of Wednesday evening.
