Mobile police have identified the homicide victim whose body was found inside a vehicle on Airport Road early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the intersection of Airport and Hillcrest Road about 1:38 a.m. Sunday. Once there, police found the victim, dead inside a vehicle from an apparent gunshot wound.

Wednesday afternoon, the victim was identified as 31-year-old David Henley.

The case remains under investigation.
