The calendar on Huntsville comedy club Stand Up Live’s website is now blank from July 13 to July 16. Previously, two shows a night by Pete Davidson — the ascendant actor, comedian and writer — filled those dates. Shortly after they were announced, the eight underplay shows, being hyped as Davidson working out new material on stage, quickly sold-out. But around noon today, ticket buyers received an email from Stand Up Live saying all Davidson’s upcoming performances there have been canceled.

The email read, “Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, ALL PETE DAVIDSON WORKING OUT NEW MATERIAL WITH FRIENDS SHOWS AT STAND UP LIVE ARE CANCELLED. All tickets will be refunded back to the original payment method. If you need further assistance, please contact our box office at 256-261-3374.”

Tickets for Davidson’s shows were around $50 each including fees. The 28-year-old known for his star-making run on TV’s “Saturday Night Live,” movies like “Bodies Bodies Bodies” and dating a string of famous and attractive women, most notably Kim Kardashian.

As of publishing of this AL.com post, the venue hadn’t announced the Davidson cancelations on its social media or, other than wiping the dates from the calendar, their website. So if you purchased tickets but don’t see an email regarding the cancelations in your inbox, check your spam folder.
