Email not working? Microsoft Outlook reports widespread outage

If you’re having trouble with your Microsoft Outlook email, you’re not alone.

According to Microsoft’s service portal, Outlook is experiencing issues and is shown with a red “X” next to its status.

Downdetector.com reports an increase in reported issues with Outlook this morning. On Twitter, Microsoft said they are investigating “an issue with accessing Outlook on the web.” Reports of outages started around 9 a.m. CT Monday morning.

“We’ve identified downstream impact for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business,” a second tweet noted.

In a later tweet, Microsoft said:
