A woman pulled from her burning Birmingham home last week has now died.

Birmingham firefighter responded about 1 p.m. Wednesday to the fire in the 1800 block of St. Charles Court on the city’s west side. A woman was reported to be trapped inside, said Battalion Chief Tobias Jones.

Crews entered the home and brought out the victim.

She was taken to Princeton Baptist Medical Center. She died Friday at 2:10 p.m.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Monday announced her death and identified her as 63-year-old Sharon Anne Richardson.

The cause of the fire has not been announced.
