Mobile Ballet buys building in Daphne

The city of Robertsdale paid $900,000 for 45 acres off Fairground Road in Robertsdale and plans to use it for future city services development, according to Herrington Realty, who assisted the sellers.

Mobile Ballet paid $700,000 for a 5,600-square-foot building at 26150 Equity Drive in Daphne, according to Jeff Barnes of Stirling, who represented Mobile Ballet. The buyers plan to renovate the building for additional studio space when the Eastern Shore location relocates later this year. Joe Steen Real Estate & Development represented the seller.

Pond, a national engineering and architecture company, has leased 3,162 square feet of office space in the Commerce Building at 118 N. Royal St., in downtown Mobile, according to Josh W. Hall of CRE Mobile, who represented Pond. The company plans to relocate from its office at 9 Dauphin St., in Mobile to the larger office space. Pond has more than 20 locations nationwide. Inge & Associates represented the landlord.

Gulf Coast Men’s Clinic has leased 3,015 square feet of space at 820 University Blvd., in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord.

Investors paid $110,000 for two lots totalling .36 acres at 1405 and 1407 Spring Hill Ave., in Mobile, and plan to develop a commercial building on the property, according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty and Sharon Wright of Omega Properties, who represented the sellers. Wellhouse Real Estate West worked for the buyers.

ChillCo., has leased a 2,000 square foot warehouse at 2565 Halls Mill Road in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling Properties, who represented the tenant.

Watch for Baumhower’s Victory Grille to locate in the Tanger Outlets off Ala. 59 in Foley near the Nike Factory Store. And Scoop of Sunshine Italian Ice will open soon in the Tanger’s food court.

The city of Orange Beach is seeking site plan review to build a 4,700-square-foot field house and 13,000 square feet of covered batting cages for the Orange Beach High School baseball and softball teams at the Orange Beach Sportsplex at 4389 William Silvers Parkway.
