Two people were killed early Thursday morning after a truck collided head-on with a car in Winston County, authorities said.

Jeremy D. Jorgenson, 34, and Dylan T. Bishop, 24, both of Haleyville, were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck on Alabama 13 near the 260-mile marker, less than a mile east of Natural Bridge, said Cpl. Reginal King of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Jorgenson was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado that collided head-on with a 2013 Ford Focus driven by Bishop around 5:07 a.m. Thursday.

The truck was towing a boat that struck a 2013 Acura TSX, King said.

Authorities did not say whether anyone in the TSX was injured.

Further information was unavailable as state troopers continued to investigate the wreck.
