Authorities are looking for family members of two people who died last week in Jefferson County.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified them as Andrea Denise King, 42, of Birmingham, and Danny Clayton Rodgers, 68, who was living in Pleasant Grove.

No foul play was involved in either death. Their bodies are ready to be released for burial and the coroner’s office has not been able to locate relatives of them.

King was found unresponsive by a friend inside a private residence at 11:02 a.m. on May 25. That home was located in the 400 block of First Street West.

She was pronounced dead at 11:30 a.m. The cause of her death is pending.

Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said King is believed to be from the Indianapolis area and is believed to still have family living there.

Rodgers was a tenant at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation in Pleasant Grove. He was found dead at the facility at 8 a.m. on May 28.

Rodgers previously lived in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue South in Birmingham.

Family members are asked to call the coroner’s office at 205-930-3603.
