Gotta hand it to the voters of Alabama. When y’all elected Tommy Tuberville to the U.S. Senate, you left no doubt where this state stands on ignorance, racism and mediocre football coach name recognition-ism. Win, win, win!

As my colleague Roy S. Johnson writes, “between gerrymandering and an incompetent state Democratic party, Alabama Republicans could elect a cabbage to statewide office.”
That would be an improvement over Tuberville. A cabbage keeps its ignorant mouth shut.
