Jaylin Williams is back at Auburn after exploring NBA Draft

Auburn forward Jaylin Williams returns to the Plains for another season. He announced his plans to withdraw from the NBA Draft and return to Auburn Wednesday via Twitter.

The 6′8 230-pound forward shot 35.4% from three last season while averaging 11.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists. Williams declared for the 2023 NBA Draft in April but specified he was maintaining his eligibility. He has an extra year to use due to the 2020 pandemic-impacted season.

Williams declared a little over 12 hours after frontcourt mate Johni Broome withdrew from the NBA Draft to return to Auburn. He arrived at Auburn in the 2019 class as a four-star recruit from Brantley County High School in Nahunta, Georgia, and played in 107 games for the Tigers.
