$110 million Anthem House to cater to underserved Huntsville residents

A $110 million mixed-use building going up in Huntsville’s MidCity district will cater to an underserved group of residents, according to its developers.

“This is what we call a multifamily hospitality project,” said RCP Senior Director of Development Nadia Niakossary of the 330-unit Anthem House. The project is under construction on University Drive near Trader Joe’s, Top Golf, the Orion Amphitheater and multiple restaurants.

“It’s a different kind of product than what’s offered in Huntsville right now,” she said. “It’s designed to operate more like a hotel than an apartment building.”

The six-floor building will offer 32,000 square feet of retail on the first floor, and 35,000 square feet of office space on the second, with residential taking up the top four floors.

Niakossary said the building will take about two years to complete, with preleasing beginning late in 2024 or early 2025, and with the community itself opening for tenants in 2025.
