Huntsville police say charges are expected following a shooting Wednesday night that left three people wounded.

According to police, the incident happened about 11 p.m. Officers responded to a shooting call at 2605 University Drive.

Two people were transported from the scene by HEMSI to Huntsville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Additionally, a third person arrived at Madison Hospital in a personal vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the shooting was an isolated incident.
