Alabama Regional Medical Services hires new CFO who is ready to serve Birmingham
Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS), a local federally funded hospital previously known as Birmingham Health Care for the Homeless, recently announced the hiring of Collette Reece as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
As CFO Reece will manage all of ARMS’ financial operations to ensure that they are meeting the guidelines for federal funding and can continue to offer affordable healthcare to underserved members of the greater Birmingham community.
Reece said she plans to use her position to increase financial efficiency at ARMS so that the money saved can be used to expand care to more patients and offer more services to those in need.
For those of us who might not know, what are your main responsibilities as CFO of ARMS?
Yeah so, a CFO is primarily in charge of managing a company’s financial operations. They’re responsible for the fiscal health of the organization, as well as internal and external reporting.
