1 juvenile, 2 women injured in afternoon fight in southwest Birmingham neighborhood
Three people – including a juvenile – were taken to area hospitals following an afternoon fight in Birmingham.
Police responded just before 4 p.m. Thursday to the 2800 block of Wilson Road S.W.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald said a group of high school students got into a fight, and then adults joined in.
When it was over, a juvenile male and an adult female had been cut or stabbed with a sharp object.
A third victim – also an adult female – is believed to have been hit in the head with a gun.
All three victims sustained serious lacerations, Fitzgerald said. The injuries, however, are not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
