Titan, the husky who trashed an Alabama animal shelter, finds forever home
Bad behavior has paid off in the form of a new home for an internet-famous dog in Alabama.
Titan the husky has been adopted, according to officials at the Calhoun County Animal Shelter. The adoption came a day after Titan’s story of a puppy party for one was posted online.
Describing him as a movie star after a video of his night was posted online, shelter officials said Titan was adopted and “going to a home with an experienced owner for his breed.”
Titan escaped from his kennel on Monday night and was able to open a door to the lobby where he proceeded to tear up papers and trash and even a computer. He also managed to free two other dogs in the shelter.
The shelter is currently raising money to help pay for repairs after Titan’s escapade. You can donate to the shelter via PayPal friends and family @[email protected] or through GoFundMe here.
The shelter will also be hosting a “Spring Into a Home” event Saturday, May 20 from noon-4 p.m. with proceeds going towards animal needs and medical care. There will be vendors, a blood mobile, food trucks and a bake sale and all adult dogs will be available for adoption for $25.
