A juvenile died from injuries in a residential house fire Sunday night that also injured five Montgomery firefighters.

WSFA is reporting the incident happened at about 8 p.m. at a single-story home in the 3400 block of Gilmer Avenue.

Three people were pulled from the house, with two taken to Baptist South. The juvenile victim was treated at Jackson Hospital but was pronounced dead.

According to Montgomery Fire/Rescue, five Montgomery firefighters were injured.

Two were taken to UAB Hospital for treatment. Three others were taken to Baptist South but were treated and released.
