Is Tennessee a real national title contender after beating Alabama College Football Survivor Show

COLLEGE FOOTBALL, USA — On this episode of The College Football Survivor Show, there’s a lot of action after a wild college football weekend.

One team from the Saturday losers of Oklahoma State, Alabama, Penn State and USC is booted from the playoff discussion.

Undefeated teams TCU, Ole Miss and Syracuse are all considered as additions to the playoff mix.

Tennessee gets a deep dive after its win over Alabama. Is the Vols’ pass defense that much of a problem? How deep is their wide receiver group? Who is playing better than Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker? And how fun would an Ohio State-Tennessee matchup in the playoff be?

Then Doug Lesmerises and Shehan Jeyarajah each rank their 10 playoff contenders, as always.

They each drafted 10 teams, and here’s how points will be awarded, and a champion determined, at the end of the season:

* 1 point for making a conference title game in the 10 conferences in FBS football

* 1 point for winning a conferences championship

* 1 point for making the playoff

* 1 point for winning the national title

That’s 35 points up for grabs, with no team able to earn more than 4 points. Check out how they picked their 20 teams.
