Birmingham isn’t Hollywood, New York City or Atlanta. But the Magic City is making strides as a movie mecca, attracting filmmakers who work with major stars (Morgan Freeman! Bruce Willis!) and celebrated character actors (Sean Astin! Noah Schnapp!).
