Limestone County authorities are looking for two people involved in a shooting Monday night in Tanner.

According to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened in the 20000 block of U.S. 31, just north of Huntsville Brownsferry Road.

Investigators say the victim, whose name has not yet been released, was walking near the road when a dark Ford F-150 pulled off the road, possibly occupied by two men.

Someone in the truck shot the victim, and the offenders fled, leaving him with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.

According to investigators, one of the men in the truck was wearing a black cowboy hat.
