Gas prices, exploiting the elderly, highway jet ski: Down in Alabama

From today’s Down in Alabama podcast:

You know how when you’re trying to pick out your first vehicle, there’s always somebody who has a theory on which kind of cars or trucks are most likely to get pulled over by the law?

They’ll say sports cars will get pulled over quicker. Or convertibles. Or red cars.

Or, it turns out, whatever kind of vehicle people like to drive 80 down a county road with expired tags. Just minding their own business.

With all that in mind, over the weekend Daphne, Alabama, Police pulled over a man driving a jet ski down Highway 98.

Also on Down in Alabama today, we have gas prices acting out of character for this time of year, and we have a woman going behind bars for what she took from an assistant-living resident.
