One person is dead following a shooting Sunday in Huntsville.

According to Huntsville police, officers were called to Knight Road at about 4:40 p.m. on a shooting call.

There was one reported fatality.

Officials did not release the name of the victim this morning.

Police said they would provide additional information later.
