The Chicago Bears announced that four of their draft picks had signed contracts, including Kennesaw State defensive tackle Travis Bell, who prepped at Jeff Davis in Montgomery.

Drafted players receive four-year contracts. The values of those contracts are based on draft position, the NFL’s salary cap of $224.8 million for the 2023 season and this year’s rookie compensation pool in a formula spelled out in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league and its players association.

While terms were not announced, the values of the contracts can be estimated, which the sports financial website spotrac.com has done:

· Anders was the 207th player selected, which carries a four-year contract worth an estimated $3.997 million, including a $156,774 signing bonus.
