A Mobile suspect was jailed Tuesday on intentional murder charges in the slaying of a 71-year-old man last month in Bayou Le Batre, according to court records.

Dung Van Nguyen, 55, allegedly killed Chien Van Vo on April 14, according to the charges filed against Nguyen in Mobile County Circuit Court. Nguyen was arrested Tuesday in Bayou Le Batre.

Mobile County Metro Jail records showed Nguyen was arrested by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Vo was 71 years old, ALEA’s State Bureau of Investigation told Fox 10. The agency also said Vo’s slaying occurred in Bayou Le Batre.
