A Mobile man was died late Monday morning after he was involved in a head-on collision in Semmes, authorities said Monday night.

Timothy F. McClure, 68, was driving a 1977 Toyota Celica when the vehicle collided with a 2008 Nissan Quest on Snow Road in Semmes around 11:35 a.m. Monday, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Anna Peoples.

McClure was pronounced dead at the scene, said Peoples.

The driver of the Quest was taken to University Medical Hospital for treatment.

Further information was unavailable as state troopers continued to investigate the wreck.
