Former President Donald Trump to participate in CNN presidential town hall next week
Former President Donald Trump will take part in a CNN presidential town hall next week in New Hampshire, the cable news network announced.
The event will be hosted by “CNN This Morning,” anchor Kaitlin Collins and will air May 10 at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT). The former president will be taking questions from New Hampshire Republicans and undeclared voters who plan to cast a ballot in the 2024 GOP presidential primary.
The town hall will stream on the CNN network as well as CNN.com and CNN OTT and mobile apps under “TV Channels,” or on CNNgo where available, the network said.
Trump is seeking to take back the White House after failing to win a second term in 2020 when he lost to Democrat Joe Biden. Polls show him leading the GOP field but he has also been indicted in a Manhattan case involving hush money payments made to a former porn star who alleges they had an affair.
Trump is also currently involved in a civil case involving advice columnist E. Jean Carroll who claims the former president sexually assaulted her in the mid-1990s, allegations Trump denies.
