The AHSAA coaches’ soccer poll had only two changes at the top in the final regular season rankings, both on the boys’ side. Bayside Academy at 13-1-3 jumped to the top spot in Class 4A with previous No. 1 Trinity (18-6-1) falling to No. 3. In Class 5A, Southside-Gadsden (19-4-1) is the new No. 1, swapping spots with now No. 2 Guntersville (21-3-1).

The Oak Mountain boys are still atop the “Super Poll,” the ranking of the top 10 teams in the state regardless of classification. Vestavia Hills is No. 1 in the girls’ Super Poll.

State playoffs for Class 6A started last week with the postseason for all classes beginning today.
