Here’s how to attend the free Small Business Week conference in Birmingham
Two Birmingham businesses have partnered to present a free business conference during Small Business Week.
Polaris, a co-working space based in Woodlawn, and ASL Creative Firm will host a conference aimed at educating and empowering small business owners from May 1-4.
The four-day conference will cover a range of topics, including tax preparation, business planning strategy, marketing, communications, and sales. Guests and speakers include Renee Price, the founder of Work Smart Solutions, Lashada LeRoy of LRY Media Group, and Victor Brown of the Birmingham Business Alliance.
Polaris, located at 5521 1st Avenue South, will hold the series of workshops and seminars.
Polaris CEO and founder Aylcia Levels-Moore says the ultimate goal of the conference is to connect to the community and to provide resources and support.
“The power and influence of small businesses on the local and global economy have a profound impact,” said Levels-Moore in a press release. “Too often, people have amazing ideas but don’t have the knowledge, expertise, or information to turn those dreams into reality. We are here to nurture and help those ideas flourish.”
