Alabama’s Kendall Randolph signs with Seattle Seahawks following NFL Draft

Kendall Randolph signed as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday. Alabama announced the signing on its Twitter account.

The former Crimson Tide guard/tight end wasn’t expected to be a 2023 NFL Draft selection, but instead, he’ll have a chance to impress the Seahawks in camp. Randolph was among the Crimson Tide’s NFL-high 13 players invited to te combine.

An alum of Bob Jones High in Madison, Alabama, Randolph was the remaining member of Alabama’s 2017 recruiting class on the Tide roster. Other NFLers from that group of prospects include Tua Tagovailoa, Najee Harris, Jerry Jeudy, Jedrick Wills, Mac Jones and DeVonta Smith, among others.

Randolph appeared in his first game in 2019 and split time as an offensive lineman and tight end, acting as an extra blocker for the Tide’s run schemes. He started six games in Alabama’s national championship-winning campaign in 2020 and four more in 2021.

As a graduate student, Randolph alternated between tight end and left guard across 13 games last fall. He was recorded as having nine knockdown blocks.
