Frankie Muniz is a big-time star for folks of a certain age because “Malcolm in the Middle” was pretty-darned popular with kids in the early 2000s.

For others, maybe the 37-year-old isn’t as big because his acting career hasn’t quite taken off like that of another star from the show — Bryan Cranston — since the series wrapped in 2006. But for the folks who do know Muniz, there’s some good news this week.

Because, turns out, since he appeared on “Dancing with the Stars” a couple years ago and mentioned that he had issues with his memories, the rumors have taken off. And, Muniz said in a recent GQ Sports interview, the story somehow became that he was dying.

But he assured the publication, that’s not the case.

“I’m all good,” Muniz said.

He did admit that he still struggles with his memory, though.

“I don’t know how much of that is because I’ve had nine concussions in my life, but I think it’s mostly because since I was 8-years-old, I’ve never stopped moving — going places, doing so much,” he said. “And as an actor, I would become someone else, say their words, and then forget them the next day.”

Because of that, Muniz said, he doesn’t “absorb everything.”

Not only is Muniz not dying, though, he is active and pursuing a dream — with some success — of being a NASCAR driver. Muniz is currently competing in ARCA, which is where many NASCAR drivers start their careers, and he even finished has an 11th-place finish at Daytona International Speedway and a sixth-place finish at Phoenix, too, per GQ.

And he has big, big plans.

“This isn’t a hobby for me,” Muniz told GQ. I want to race in the Daytona 500 in two years, which would make me the oldest rookie ever in the NASCAR Cup Series.

“That’s my goal.”
