Five upcoming events that will let you learn and have fun in Coastal Alabama
This week’s list features the first event in a series on gardening, sponsored by the Mobile County Master Gardeners and the Mobile Public Library. There’s also Spanish Fort’s annual Delta Woods and Waters Expo, an all-day celebration of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta that features boat tours, presentations and live shows.

Delta Woods & Waters Expo, April 29, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center, Spanish Fort, AL
The 13th annual Delta Woods & Waters Expo, sponsored by the City of Spanish Fort, showcases the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. There will be presentations from the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Baldwin County Beekeeper’s Association and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, among many other presenters. There will even be a live raptor show, put on by the Mobile Environmental Studies Center.
