Birmingham-based ServisFirst Bank has opened its first location in Virginia, the seventh state in its network.

A new office in Virginia Beach, Va. opened today, the bank’s 30th location in the U.S.

Mike Jakubowski serves as market president of ServisFirst Bank Virginia, with Bobby Fox as senior vice president, senior commercial banker.

Jakubowski said the company is looking “forward to continuing the ServisFirst Bank standard of superior service throughout this thriving market.”

ServisFirst Bank was recently ranked 15th on the 2023 Forbes America’s Best Banks list, and 21st on the S&P Global Market Intelligence’s 2022 Top 50 Public Banks list.

It has locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas.
