Fans of Baba Java artisan coffee company are in for good news— the coffee roaster and café is set to open a new location.

The new shop will be located in Meadowbrook on Highway 119, according to an announcement on Baba Java’s social media accounts. The coffee company will be across the street from businesses in the mixed-use developments at 6801 Cahaba Valley Rd, including Taco Mama and Cadence Bank.

Baba Java also announced the Meadowbrook shop will serve new items: In addition to its full coffee menu, the new shop will also serve gelato.

The Meadowbrook store marks Baba Java’s third location. In February, the coffee company opened a shop in Montevallo. Baba Java opened its first location in 2019 in Hoover’s Chace Lake Shopping Center.

The coffee company serves specialty coffees sourced from around the world, including Yemen, Africa, and Central and South America. It also offers specialty tea and baked goods from Alabama-based businesses, including Sachai Tea Company, as well as baked goods from The Joyful Food Co.
