Vote for Huntsville HS football player of the week for Week 9

Check out this week’s nominees for the Huntsville area football player of the week and vote in the fan poll below.

Coaches and statisticians can submit game reports to [email protected] on game night to have a player nominated.

Voting is open until Wednesday morning. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday. Remember to hit the “finish survey” button after you make your choice.

Here are the Week 9 candidates:

Connor Dillard, West Morgan: Threw four touchdown passes in a 69-0 win over East Lawrence.

Griffin Fowler, Hazel Green: Threw four touchdown passes in a 54-0 win over Mae Jemison.

Landon Keller, North Sand Mountain: Completed 8 of 12 passes for 217 yards and five touchdowns in a 40-14 win over Section.

Alex Mason, East Limestone: Ran for 126 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries and caught nine passes for 170 yards and a TD in a 35-20 win over West Point.

Jaylen Mosely, Priceville: Ran for 174 yards and four touchdowns in a 72-45 win over Westminster Christian.

Brandon Musch, Westminster Christian: Ran for 188 yards and five touchdowns and completed 19 of 29 passes for 200 yards and a TD in a 72-45 loss to Priceville.

Jack Smith, Hartselle: Scored on three short touchdown runs and completed 7 of 15 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-14 win over Decatur.

Nic Strong, Randolph: Caught seven passes for 183 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-12 win over New Hope.

Sean Williams, Sparkman: Returned interceptions 36 and 70 yards for touchdowns in a 55-14 win over Huntsville.

De’Air Young, Austin: Threw three touchdown passes in a 28-26 win over Bob Jones.
