Alabama football continues to recruit multiple classes at once. While its 2024 grouping is still in development, the Crimson Tide locked in another four-star 2025 prospect on Thursday.

Dontrell Glover, a 6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman, announced on social media he has committed to Tuscaloosa. Glover is a rising junior at Langston Hughes (Ga.) and saw a wave of offers head his way this spring from Ohio State to Georgia to the Crimson Tide on March 12. While not rated on 247Sports, Glover is deemed a four-star by Rivals and a three-star by On3.

Glover visited Alabama last week and is the second offensive lineman in the 2025 class to choose position coach Eric Wolford. Mason Short, also from Georgia, committed on April 2. The Tide currently has no offensive linemen in 2024 after pulling in five in 2023, Wolford’s first class since he was hired.

Glover helped Langston Hughes go undefeated last fall, winning 15 games in Georgia’s second-largest classification. Glover was part of a powerhouse Panthers squad, playing with four 2023 four-stars, including Auburn signee Terrance Love and 11th-ranked tackle Bo Hughley (Georgia). 2024′s No. 71 overall player Air Noland, a quarterback who picked Ohio State a week ago and four-star wideout Joseph Stone (LSU) will line up with Glover again this upcoming season.

Both Glover and Short were honored as part of the MaxPreps All-America second team in January. Alabama’s other recruit in the class, elite wide receiver Ryan Williams of Saraland, was a first-team honoree. The Crimson Tide is second in the team rankings behind Georgia, which has five pledges and a trio of five stars.
